Introduction
Over the past 50 years, members of different generations have been called upon to provide the necessary resources, tools, and facilities to fulfill our church’s purpose in the future. That’s why we call our capital stewardship program Building for the Future – Celebrating the Past. Our past members continue to touch us today through the vision they had and the sacrifices they made. We have more work to complete for our future.
Looking to the Future
Over the past few years, our congregation has identified many needs at our church. Your elected elders carefully listened to all input and committed to a capital program that will unite the congregation and move all its diverse ministries into the future. With the help of our campaign consultant, Session determined the projects we can feasibly fund now. Some will be foundational for other projects that must be funded at a later date.
Building for the Future – Celebrating the Past is not simply about buildings. It’s about providing…
- More opportunities to share the gospel of Jesus Christ
- An attractive and adequate worship space for the next generation
- Improved acoustics and flexibility in our choir loft
- A replacement for an organ that’s inadequate for our growing music ministry
- A new kitchen to support fellowship activities of our congregation and community service groups
- Opportunities to do hands-on service through new mission projects
- Knowledge and spiritual growth to children, youth and adults who will lead their families and church tomorrow
