 What is E-Giving?

E-Giving is being provided to give our church members an alternative method for making contributions using an on-line electronic funds transfer (EFT) process, similar to on-line bill paying systems. This service is being provided by Cokesbury Envelope Service, the same company that issues our regular collection envelopes. Contributions can be made from either a checking or savings account, on a one time or recurring basis.

Using E-Giving

The E-Giving web site can be accessed by clicking on the E-Giving icon above. The first time you access the site you will need to set up an account on the Member Sign-Up page by clicking on the “Register Now” button. Thereafter you can log in using your established username and password.

Member Sign-Up Page

After filling out the required information click on the “Submit” button. You should then see the “Sign-Up Complete” page. You will need to click on “Authorize your account for ACH transactions” to set up the link to your bank account. After reviewing the Authorization Agreement, check the box indicating that you have read the document, then click on “I Agree”. Once you see the message at the top of the agreement that says “You are authorized to do online ACH transactions” go to the Main Menu.

To establish the connection to your bank account click on the “View/Edit Member Profile” link, then click on “Bank Accounts”, “Add”. Note: this step requires that you know the nine digit routing number for your account as well as your bank account number.

Once this step is completed return to the Main Menu.

Making Contributions

From the Main Menu page click on the link “Go To My Organization’s E-giving Transaction Page” to set up or make your donations electronically. If you schedule donations for a future date you will receive an email when they are actually made. If you make an immediate donation the final page will show a picture of an envelope with your donation information which can be printed, cut out and placed in your offering envelope to put in the donation plate on Sunday morning.

To make a contribution for a special offering, such as the Peacemaking, use the "Other" option under "Special Giving Opportunities" and specify the designated fund or program.

Note: Please let the church office know if you do not want to continue receiving offering envelopes.
