About The Event
Join UPC for a Church Retreat! This event is open to ALL ages!
Join us August 9-10 for a special time together at a beautiful camp just 45 minutes north of UPC!
This retreat is for people of ALL ages and we would LOVE for you to join us!
Register by July 25th, 2024.
Where: The retreat will take place about 45 minutes north of UPC at Michigan Christian Youth Camp in Attica, MI. The camp facility is beautiful and provides us with the opportunity to spend time together in nature, in worship, around tables at meal times, to play games, and more!
What to expect: We will have a variety of activities for all ages to choose from including
- Horseback riding
- Kayaking/Canoeing
- Fishing
- Nature walks
- A Dream Catcher Class & Craft
- Yard games and board/card games
- Campfire (with s'mores, of course!)
- A Hay Ride
- Worship
- Spiritual Practices
- Coloring pages, and more!
Cost:
- Friday-Saturday: $67 per person
- Saturday only: $48 per person
- Children (12 and younger): $20 per person
- If finances are prohibiting you from attending, please let us know! Scholarships are available. Email Pastor Tricia at tricia@universitypres.org
Housing: The camp has "dorms," which are bunk bed style rooms with community bathrooms. You can sign up for your family to stay in a room alone, with another family, or we will have housing for individuals based on gender if that is preferred. You can also bring your own tent or camper and access the bathrooms in one of the rooms if that is more your style! When you register you can select what kind of housing you'd like to pick, and you can update which one you select with Katelyn later if desired.
Can't stay the night? No problem! There's also an option to just join us for the day on Saturday, which will have a slightly lower cost.

Overnight with three meals
This option registers you to stay Friday night (whether in a tent or dorm) and have three meals included in your stay. Please note all add ons (horseback riding, dream catcher making, etc.) will be selected separately in your registration and will be paid upon arrival via cash or check.
