Physical Wellness at UPC

Here at UPC we value the whole person - mind, body, and spirit - and because of this we believe offering opportunities for physical wellness is an important aspect of caring for our whole selves.

Pilates

Join us Mondays at 5:00 PM and/or Wednesdays at 7:15 AM for a Pilates Mat Class!

This class is for all ages and abilities.

Drop-in fee is $10 per class. 

This class is taught by Thayer Jonutz, an Oakland University Associate Professor of Dance, McEntire Pilates certified instructor, and Trinity Health Oakland NICU nurse.

Yoga

Starting on January 23rd we will begin offering a weekly Yoga class taught by Yoga with Meeshy, an extension of Holy Yoga. 

Tuesdays at 4:00 PM

$10 drop-in fee per class

Prayer Labyrinth

We are grateful to have a prayer labyrinth on our property. Walking the prayer labyrinth is an embodied prayer practice that seeks to provide time and space for us to mindfully pray through a rhythm of releasing, resting, and receiving. 

We walk the labyrinth weekly on Saturdays at 10:30 AM and anyone is welcome to join us! However, the labyrinth is open for anyone to walk at any time as well.
