Church Retreat

Join UPC for a Church Retreat! While it is hard to believe it's time to plan for the fall, we want to make sure this gets on your calendar!  

Join us for our first All Church Retreat on September 15-16, 2023. This retreat is for people of ALL ages and we would LOVE for you to join us!  The theme we will be focusing on is "We Care Through Community." 

Where: The retreat will take place about 45 minutes north of UPC at Michigan Christian Youth Camp in Attica, MI. The camp facility is beautiful and provides us with the opportunity to spend time together in nature, in worship, around tables at meal times, to play games, and more! 

What to expect: We will have a variety of activities for all ages to choose from including 

• Horseback riding
• Kayaking/Canoeing
• Nature walks
• Candle making
• Yard games and board/card games
• Campfire (with s'mores, of course!)
• Hay rides, and more!
• Worship
• Spiritual Practices

Cost: 

• Friday-Saturday, $66 per person (Early Bird: $50 pp, prior to Aug.15)
• Saturday only, $46 per person (Early Bird: $30 pp, prior to Aug.15)

Housing: The camp has "dorms," which are bunk bed style rooms with community bathrooms. You can sign up for your family to stay in a room alone, with another family, or we will have housing for individuals based on gender if that is preferred. You can also bring your own tent or camper and access the bathrooms in one of the rooms if you'd prefer that! When you register you can select what kind of housing you'd prefer.

Can't stay the night? No problem! There's also an option to just join us for the day on Saturday, which will have a slightly lower cost. We'd love to have you come up for any time you're able!
