Meet Pastor Tricia
She/Her
Tricia Jacobs serves as the Senior Pastor/Head of Staff, and began her ministry at UPC in 2020. Her role includes preaching, teaching, overseeing committees/staff, pastoral care and worship design.
My Story
Tricia is most grateful for the opportunity to be with others at all different seasons of discipleship. Her ministry is focused on making everyone feel affirmed for who God created them to be and that we are all called to encourage our fellow pilgrims on this journey.

Tricia has pastored churches in Waterloo, IA; West Chester, PA; and Warren, ME. Tricia loves to travel and has deep appreciation for the country of her birth, the Democratic Republic of Congo. As the recipient of an Eli Lilly grant in 2010, Tricia traveled back to the DRC with her parents and eldest brother.

Tricia is fortunate to have a great partner in ministry, her husband Bruce. Together they have two adult daughters, Hannah and Hope. Growing up in the Philadelphia suburbs has influenced her sports’ preferences as she’s faithful to the Eagles, Phillies, Sixers and Flyers! A favorite hobby is reading, especially the writings of Frederich Buechner, Dietrich Bonhoeffer and Anne Lamott.
